Junge Partizipation: Die Zukunft der Stadtentwicklung

Kinder sind die Zukunft. Das merken wir nichts zuletzt bei Bewegungen wie Fridays for Future, die mit viel Ehrgeiz, Wut und Mut die Klimadiskussion auf eine neue Stufe gestellt haben. Auch bei der Stadtentwicklung nehmen Kinder und Jugendliche eine wichtige Rolle ein und werden zunehmend in den Fokus gestellt.

No risk, no Verkehrswende: die neue Friedrichstraße in Berlin.

Seit August 2020 ist ein Teilbereich der Friedrichstraße in Berlin gesperrt. Nun zieht der Berliner Senat im Abschlussbericht ein positives Fazit aus dem Verkehrsversuch und geht sogar noch einen Schritt weiter: Künftig sollen auch Fahrradfahrende auf die Nebenstraßen umgelenkt werden und die Friedrichstraße nur noch für Fußgänger*innen zugänglich sein.
